A farmer has died in Co Tyrone after he was attacked by a bull.
According to the PSNI, a farmer who is named as Nigel Murray, died last Saturday after he was gored by a bull. It is also believed that police shot the animal following a consultation with the vet and members of the family.
"A man has died following an incident involving a bull in a field. Police attended and after consultation with the vet and members of the family police shot the bull as it posed a risk. The office of the Police Ombudsman has been informed of the incident.”

The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland has been informed of the incident and an invistigation has begun.
A spokesperson from the HSENI said:
“HSENI can confirm it is investigating the death of a farmer in an incident involving a bull on Saturday 23 April at a farm in the Aughnacloy area, Co Tyrone. Our thoughts are with the family involved at this most difficult time.”
