Two Polish men have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a fellow Polish man in Co Donegal.

The body of Bogdan Michalkiewicz was found at his apartment in Letterkenny on May 15th, 2013.

It is believed he was killed a few days beforehand.

Krystof Grzegorski of Hazelbrook Park, Letterkenny, pleaded guilty to manslaughter but this was not accepted by the DPP.

His co-accused, Dariusz Weckowicz, of no fixed abode, has also denied the murder charge.

A jury was sworn in this afternoon and the first witness is due to be called after lunch.
