He left the shop with a sum of cash.

The man met with a second man and they both left the scene.

In a follow-up search of the area, Gardaí found the men hiding and they were arrested.

Officers were assisted by a number of units - including the Garda Dog Unit and the Air Support Unit.

Both men are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Swords and Coolock Garda stations.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
