Two people have been injured following a crash in Co Kerry.

The collision involving a car and a van happened at 6 this evening at Tonevane near Blennerville outside Tralee.

Two people - a man and a woman - were injured and it's understood that one of them may have serious injuries.

The road has reopened to traffic.

An orange rainfall warning remains in effect in Co. Kerry until 12 midday tomorrow.
