Two men are due in court in Limerick this morning following a disturbance in the city last month.
A man aged in his 30s was stabbed in the face during the violence on Parnell Street involving a number of men in Limerick on Sunday March 16th.
The injured male was taken to University Collage Hospital Galway where he was treated for his injuries.
Gardai from Roxboro Road arrested four men yesterday.
Two of them, aged in their 30s, were later released without charge and files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
While the other two, aged in their 20s, are expected to appear before Limerick District Court today.
