Two people have died after a plane used by crew on the set of a new movie starring Tom Cruise and Irish star, Domhnall Gleeson crashed in Colombia. 

A Hollywood pilot, Alan Purwin, has been named as one of the victims.

Neither Cruise nor Domhnall were on board the flight. 

Reports say the plane was being used to transport crew members between set locations and the local airport.

Filming for Mena began in May. It's due out in 2017.
