Two men are appearing before Longford District Court this evening charged in connection with the seizure of drugs worth €200,000. 

The cocaine, cannabis and MDMA was seized at an apartment in the Main Street area of Ballymahon in County Longford yesterday.

Gardaí said the cannabis was worth around €100,000, the cocaine €70,000 and the MDMA €30,000.

Two men in their early 30s were arrested and held overnight.

They have now been charged and are due before a special sitting of Longford District Court this evening.
