Two men are due in court this afternoon in connection with a string of burglaries in Cork city.
Gardaí said five homes were burgled between midnight and 5am on Friday. Cash and property were stolen from a number of the houses.
The robbers got into one of the homes by pretending to be Gardaí.
Two men, one in his 40s and the other in his 20s, were arrested yesterday and taken to Togher Garda Station.
They are due before a special sitting of Cork District Court this afternoon at 5pm.
Gardaí are warning the public not to let anyone claiming to be a garda into their home unless they can prove who they are.
If you have concerns about someone claiming to be a member of the force, you should immediately contact garda.
