The car of the Tanaiste and Minister for Children was egged at an engagement in Dublin earlier today.
Irish socialist republican political party Eirigi were behind the protest.
They held placards and shouted obscenities at Eamon Gilmore and Frances Fitzgerald.
They attended the launch of UNICEF Ireland’s Children’s Referendum campaign in Ballyfermot.
