Today will be a mostly dry and bright day with some sunny breaks coming through, although there will be a good deal of cloud overall.
Dull and misty conditions will persist in parts of the west and southwest with patchy drizzle especially near the coast.
It will be cooler than recent days with highs of 7C to 9C degrees generally – but reaching 10C or 11C degrees in coastal fringes of Munster.
TONIGHT
Tonight will be mostly dry in the East with clear spells and some fog and frost forming as temperatures dip close to freezing.
Western parts will be less cold with cloud bringing patches of drizzle and mis.
Lowest temperatures of 3C to 6C degrees.
