There'll be a lot of bright weather today, with a mix of sunny spells and cloudy periods.

Some light showers can be expected too, mainly over Ulster, with most other areas dry.

Top temperatures will be between 14 to 18 degrees, in a moderate to fresh northwesterly breeze.

Rain and drizzle will develop in the northwest early tonight and will then become widespread across the country later in the night.

Lowest temperatures will be between 9 to 12 degrees, in a moderate to fresh west to northwesterly breeze.
