Today
Heavy rain will persist in many areas for the start of the morning, particularly the east and north of the country, but will continue to clear slowly northeastwards. Elsewhere it will be a damp, foggy start with isolated showers. Light to moderate southeast winds will continue to veer southwest with the clearing rain, and temperatures today will reach 15 or 16 degrees at best this afternoon. Showers will become widespread in the afternoon and evening and will be heavy at times with a risk of thunder.
Tonight
Showers will mostly die out tonight and it will become dry with clear spells. Winds will be mainly light to moderate southerly and lowest temperatures will be between 6 and 8 degrees.
