Man arrested by gardaí investigating murder of woman in Sligo

Gardaí in Sligo investigating the death of a woman in the town this morning have arrested a man.

The victim at the centre of the murder inquiry was tonight named as 24-year-old Natalie McGuinness.

The iconic World Cup logo is to be scrapped

This Saturday's World Cup final between New Zealand and Australia will mark the final time fans will see the iconic Rugby World Cup logo after World Rugby yesterday revealed a new logo for the World Cup in Japan in 2019.

Variations of the current logo have been used since the 1991 World Cup, with the famous rugby ball, being placed on a green and blue background to originally represent the pitch and the sky.

French online reviewer fined €2,500 for leaving negative review before restaurant opened

An amateur online restaurant reviewer in France has been fined €2,500 and ordered to pay €5,000 in costs for posting a negative review of a restaurant - before it even opened.

The unusual case involved the restaurant Loiseau Des Ducs - which received a Michelin star last year - in Dijon, central France.
