A Dublin club has made Dr Eva Carneiro an offer she cannot refuse

Dr Eva Carneiro's matchday position at Chelsea seems to be under threat after rushing onto the pitch in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea when Eden Hazard was injured late in the game.

The incident caused manager Jose Mourinho to criticise his medical team, which he called "naive".

With Carneiro's position unknown, north Dublin side St. Mochta's have offered her a way out of Chelsea with the tempting offer of a free season ticket to all their games.

Has Ed Sheeran crossed the "lion" with his new tattoo?

Ed Sheeran unveiled his new tattoo on Instagram just yesterday and it's certainly an interesting one...

QUIZ: How well do you know the Leaving Cert?

Discussing Leaving Cert results is an annual national pastime, without fail. And given that you probably didn't just sit the exams last June - how well do you think you would do?

Amy, who has been living in emergency accommodation with her children since April, joined Pat Kenny in studio this morning.

Amy had been living in rented accommodation for over 4 years but was asked to leave by her landlord who was forced to sell the house.

With the news that our Antipodean cousins in New Zealand have whittled down the 10,000 submissions ahead of next year’s two referenda on whether or not to adopt a new national flag, talk in the studios of Newstalk turned to the design of our own tricolour.

On yesterday’s Moncrieff, guest host Kieran Cuddihy was talking to journalist and acting editor of TheJournal.ie Christine Bohan, who brought up the vexing topic of our flag. “I really like the idea,” Bohan said, “Because there is something very democratic about it.”

“Well no-one in their right mind would vote to put orange in a flag,” Cuddihy quipped, before Bohan reminded him it was a trendy colour and, after all, “the new black.”
