Today

Dry in most areas at first today with good sunny spells in the east.

However, showery rain is already affecting parts of the west and southwest and this showery rain will extend eastwards during the course of the day (but rainfall amounts will be small).

The showery rain will clear into the Irish Sea by early evening with sunny spells and isolated showers following on behind.

Top temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees.

Winds will be moderate southwesterly at first but veering west to northwest later.

Tonight

Mostly dry overnight with clear spells and patchy cloud.

Minimum temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate west or northwesterly breezes.
