However thickening cloud near west and southwest counties may produce some rain towards nightfall. A mild and breezy day, with highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees (temperatures will widely climb to 19 degrees Celsius), warmest across the midlands. Southeast winds will be moderate to fresh.
Heavy persistent rain developing in the southwest and west tonight, with spot flooding. The rain will very gradually edge in across the western half of the country towards dawn. A breezy night with fresh southeast winds. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees Celsius.
