It will be mostly cloudy today, with a good deal of dry weather and some patchy light rain or drizzle, mainly in Connacht and Ulster.

South Munster and south Leinster will be dry with sunny spells.

Highest temperatures will range from 16 degrees in the northwest to 22 degrees in the southeast, with moderate to fresh west to southwest breezes.

Tonight will be mainly dry. There'll be some further patchy rain or drizzle in coastal areas of Connacht and Ulster.

Lowest temperatures will be between 11 to 13 degrees.
