Around 2000 Sinn Féin delegates are descending on Mayo this weekend for the party's Ard Fheis. 

More than 250 motions will be discussed tonight and tomorrow.

The party will focus on the opposition to austerity, the property tax and water charges, and push for the holding of a border poll.

In the week of the 15th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement the conference will be attended by the Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary, Labour MP, Vernon Coaker.
