Europe’s Largest Tech Event, the Web Summit gets underway in Dublin from today.
The summit will attract around 22,000 people, including 700 investors and 1,300 journalists, over the next three days which is expected to generate over 100 million euros for the Irish economy.
The CEO of Dropbox, Drew Houston, the founder of Paypal and the first investor in Facebook, Peter Thiel, and actress and entrepreneur, Eva Longoria, are among some the speakers to attend.
Among the highlights at this years event include the NASDAQ being opened - for the second consecutive year - by Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Founder of Web Summit, Paddy Cosgrave.
