The Health Minister says management of St Vincent's Hospital should have appeared before the Oireachtas Health Committee.
It's after a Prime Time investigation into Eurosurgical alleged that staff at St Vincents and the Beacon accepted gifts and holidays from the medical supplier in return for commerically-sensitive information.
St Vincent's says it won't be taking part in Dáil hearings while its own international probe is underway.

Asylum seekers should be free to work while awaiting decision on status - Peter Sutherland
Peter Sutherland, the United Nations Special Representative for International Migration, has said asylum seekers in Ireland should be free to work while awaiting a decision on their immigration status, rather than waiting in direct provision.
Speaking to Newstalk Lunchtime, Mr Sutherland said that, considering the length of time it takes to reach a decision on migrants’ status, time which they currently spend in the direct provision system, banned from working, migrants should be permitted to work while awaiting a ruling on their status.
Identity Ireland sees 25% increase in membership since yesterday
Ireland's newest political party has seen a 25% increase in membership since its launch yesterday.
The launch of Identity Ireland was interrupted by anti-racism protesters in Dublin.
The party is seeking to curb immigration and calling for the return of the Punt, among other measures.
Varadkar outlines plans for free GP care for under 18s
The Health Minister has pledged to extend free GP care to all children.
Speaking ahead of the announcement at the MacGill Summer School in Co Donegal, Leo Varadkar said the extension would be brought in if the Government is re-elected - and would first apply to under-12s - before covering all children.
Fianna Fáil has already hit out at his announcement as kite-flying and an election gimmick - with no clear path on funding.
