The pop icon Prince is dead, confirms publicist

Music icon Prince has died at the age of 57 at his home in suburban Minneapolis, his publicist has confirmed.

His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, told news agencies that the rock legend was found dead at his home on Thursday in Chanhassen.

It comes days after he suffered a medical emergency that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois.

 

Government talks adjourn - and Irish Water wasn't on the agenda

Fianna Fail's Barry Cowen has said the issue of Irish Water was not raised today at talks to form a new Government.
