A teenager is due in court again today charged with the manslaughter of a teenage boy (17) in Co Mayo last weekend.

Dovydas Jenkus was found dead at Claremont Manor in Claremorris in the early hours of Saturday - he had been assaulted.

A 16-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was arrested at the scene and appeared before a special sitting of Castlebar District Court at the weekend, where he was charged with the unlawful killing.

He was released on bail pending today's court appearance.
