A teenager has been arrested as part of an investigation into an incident where a Garda car was rammed in Cherry Orchard in September.
It is the sixth arrest made as part of the investigation.
Videos shared widely on social media showed two cars speeding through the Dublin housing estate in the early hours of the evening.
One of the cars could be seen performing a high-speed handbrake turn while a crowd gathered to watch.
As a Garda car arrived with its lights flashing, both cars continued to drive erratically, refusing to stop for the officers.
After one of the cars drove directly at the gardaí before turning away and speeding off, the second car rammed the Garda vehicle head-on.
"Gardaí investigating the endangerment of Gardaí and related incidents in the Cherry Orchard area on 19th September 2022, arrested a male juvenile this morning," said a Garda spokesperson.
The teen is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.
