A group representing survivors of symphysiotomy say they won't accept Magdalene-style compensation.

The Survivors of Symphysiotomy group says its members are the victims of medical negligence and deserve their day in court.

Members of the group are meeting in Dublin today to discuss the possibility of a government redress scheme.

Spokeswoman Marie O'Connor says a redress scheme is an insult to survivors:
