TODAY

Rain will spread across Ulster, Connacht and west Munster this morning and into the the rest of the country in the afternoon.

It will be heavy at times with a risk of localised flooding, especially in Connacht and Ulster. Becoming dry in the south later this evening.

Highest temperatures of 18C to 21C with fresh southerly winds, strong at times on coasts.

TONIGHT

Tonight, rain will continue over the northern half of the country.

It will clear northwards from all but the north coast overnight with a few showers following from the south.

Very mild and humid with temperatures of 14C to 17C.
