The Education Minister says the divesting of some primary schools from the Catholic Church has not been as rapid as envisaged.
A progress report on patronage change in 43 locations shows that just four primary schools have reformed their ethos to multi-faith.

It also recommends that symbols or artefacts from other religions should be displayed in classroom - instead of banning the use of crucifixes.
