SIPTU workers are split on whether or not to accept new Labour Court cost-cutting proposals at Dublin Bus.

Today trade union members including clerical staff, engineers and executives voted to accept the deal which would see almost 12 million Euro worth of cuts introduced at the transport firm.

However last week drivers rejected the plans.

The proposals were arrived at during overnight talks between trade union reps and management after three days of strike action earlier this month.

SIPTU represents around 12 hundred drivers and 450 workers in other grades at Dublin Bus.
