A series of searches have been carried out and a number of people arrested by Gardaí investigating organised crime.
Operation Wireless has also seen 5 people detained on foot of European arrest warrants.
This operation began early this morning when a series of searches were carried out across the wider Dublin area.
The operation involves the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB), the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation, the national Bureau of Criminal investigation and the Garda Drugs Unit.
Gardaí say a series of arrests have been made.
Among those detained were 4 men and 1 woman under European arrest warrants.
They were brought before the High Court this morning.
They are now being held at a number of Garda stations in Dublin and Meath.
Gardaí say the operation is focused on the criminal activities of a number of selected targets.
It is also still on-going.
