Today will start dry and bright with some hazy sunshine – best in northern and eastern areas.

Rain in the southwest will become more widespread over southern and western areas as the day progresses.

A few showers are likely to break out elsewhere, with the risk of a few heavy and thundery downpours.

A breezy day with top temperatures 17C to 21C.

Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds, which will be strong in some coastal areas, will ease later in the day.

TONIGHT

Scattered outbreaks of rain will continue to affect all areas tonight, with moderate to fresh southeast winds.

Lowest temperatures of 11C to 15C.
