It'll be a cold and frosty start, with fog in places this morning but it’ll be a dry day today with sunshine and light winds.

Highest temperatures this afternoon will reach between 6 and 11 degrees, the higher temperatures along the west coast, and it will be cooler in parts of the south midlands where fog may linger for a time.

Winds will be light and mainly southerly but will be moderate to fresh at times in the northwest.

Tonight will also be cold and dry with light to moderate southerly winds, continuing fresh in the northwest where it will become cloudier with a little patchy drizzle later.

Lowest temperatures will be between minus 1 and plus 3 degrees generally, but milder along the west coast.
