Two Ryanair jets were damaged following a ground collision at Stansted Airport in London this morning.
No one was injured when the aircraft clipped each other shortly before 7.00am.
One of the planes had just arrived from Frankfurt Hahn while the other was preparing to depart for Modin in Poland.
Ryanair has confirmed that the wing tip and tail cone of two Ryanair aircraft made contact while one was taxing to stand and the other was commencing pushback.
Two replacement aircraft were brought in and departed following a 3 hour delay.
The airline has said it’s engineering team is currently investigating.
Earlier this month, a Ryanair jet was damaged when it rolled into a building at Rome’s Ciampino Airport after ground crews failed to secure the plane.
