The company currently employs 400 people in seven offices across the country.
It is a provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions.
The company mitigates risks and losses, employing more than 21,000 people across 65 countries.
The CEO of Sedgwick in Ireland is Malcolm Hughes.
He said: "Today's announcement is the result of the continued, successful growth and performance of our Irish operations and our expectation that this development will continue.
"We see our growth being driven by a strong pipeline of new business projects, our responsiveness to clients' needs, and a demand for managed solutions in anticipation of Brexit."
Sedgwick said it has secured "a significant contract" with Irish Life Health as one of its preferred service providers.
It has plans to establish teams to provide corporate services internationally, such as finance and IT support.
Sedgwick is seeking people for roles that include customer service, sales, claims, property, liability, accident and health insurance - as well as corporate finance, technology and compliance.
