Over €260,000 in cash has been seized at Dublin Airport.
It was recovered under the Proceeds of Crime legislation from four Irish residents, two men and two women, who arrived into Dublin Airport from the United Arab Emirates.
Revenue was granted a three-month detention order in respect of the cash pending further inquirie.
Meanwhile, Revenue seized 17,400 cigarettes from a Moldovan man who'd landed on a flight from Munich last night.
The Marlboro Gold and L&M brand cigarettes had an estimated retail value of over €8,800.
A man has appeared in court and was remanded to appear again tomorrow.
