Revenue's detector dog team have helped sniff out €90,000 worth of cannabis destined for Dublin.
The dogs discovered a total of 4.5kg of herbal cannabis hidden in a parcel of dried fish that was being processed at Portlaoise Mail Centre.
Revenue officers said the package originated in Mozambique.
Investigations are on-going with a view to prosecution.
Meanwhile, in a separate search, a quantity of cigarettes was seized at Dublin Airport.

Almost 20,000 cigarettes were uncovered when officers stopped and searched two passengers who arrived on a flight from Munich.
It's understood the haul is worth almost €11,000.
The Moldovan man and woman, both in their 20s, appeared in court this afternoon and are due to appear again on Tuesday.
Revenue is appealing to anyone who has information on smuggling to get in contact.
