Revenue detector dog Meg has uncovered drugs worth over €3m at Dublin Port.

In a statement, Revenue said 36kg of suspected cocaine and 11kg of MDMA were seized.

Officers found the drugs using a mobile x-ray scanner - and with Meg's assistance.

The drugs were found in a container that arrived in on a ferry from Europe.

Revenue said the seizure was made as part of its ongoing operations targeting the importation of drugs into the country.
