The Health Minister says he makes no apologies for adding 2 locations in his constituency to a list of places chosen for Primary Care Centres after the final list had been drawn up by the Health Service Executive (HSE).
Junior Health Minister Roisin Shortall earlier challenged the decision by the Minister saying she did not know why he had made the change.
The Department has said that the list was changed to bring greater certainty to the successful development of the centres.
Minister Shortall says it is up to Minister Reilly to explain why the extra centres were added.
She also refused to state her confidence in Minister Reilly despite being asked 3 times.

Fianna Fáil says it is time for the Taoiseach to intervene in the row between Ministers Reilly and Shortall.
Michael McGrath is Finance Spokesperson.
