The day will begin dry and cloudy in most areas, but outbreaks of showers are on the way unfortunately.
Met Éireann has said that scattered outbreaks of rain will spread across the south of the country and will slowly extend northwards through the day.
Temperatures will be cool for this time of year, with highs of 15 or 16 degrees.
Tonight will see further outbreaks of rain, although the showers will become more scattered later in the night.
Lowest temperatures will be between 12 and 13 degrees.
Outlook
The good news is that the rain will clear tomorrow morning, bringing good spells of sunshine across the country by the afternoon.
There will be the occasional showers as well, but temperatures should reach 20 or 21 degrees.
