Detectives in the North are appealing for information about an armed robbery at a shop in Carrickfergus yesterday evening.
A man wearing a balaclava pulled a gun on staff at a newsagents in the area at around 5.30pm.
He demanded money and cigarettes before making his getaway on foot. Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen him escape.
He was around 6-foot tall, dressed in light jeans and a dark jacket.
He is believed to have run along Prince William Way and down the side of the Carrickfergus Leisure Centre, before crossing the bridge and passing through a tunnel heading in the direction of McKeens Green.
