UK Police are trying to contact the family of an Irishman who died in Liverpool last weekend.

Merseyside Police said 39-year-old John Hoare was born in Ireland and travelled to the city from Tipperary around four years ago.

Investigators said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death in Park Road East, Birkenhead last Saturday.

Anyone who knows his family or next-of-kin is asked to contact the Liverpool Coroner’s Office.
