English police have thanked their local criminals for laying off for the past couple of weeks.
Sargeant Colin Taylor of the Isles of Scilly Police posted a picture of stones balancing on a deserted beach to illustrate their mental equilibrium.
He said: "I note with appreciation that in the past 3 weeks you have given us a period of grace. During this time and after a busy summer there has only been one new reported matter across the whole of Scilly, a fuel theft at Pendrethan".
"Thanks also to the anonymous person who built this Feng Shui boulder stack on St Martin’s last weekend. Once I zoned out the discomfort of sitting in the lotus position on rocks it helped me find my centre."
Police suggested the criminals "carry on and see if it becomes habit forming".
