A murder investigation is underway, and police say they will not be in a position to reveal the identity the woman until next of kin have been contacted.
The woman's remains were discovered on the 6th of June by a cyclist in a wooded area.
Police say they are continuing their inquiries into the circumstances of the woman's death, and will endeavour to find those responsible for it.
