250 Jobs to be created

Pfizer is investing $130 million in 2 of its Irish manufacturing sites - with the creation of 250 construction jobs.

The pharmaceutical giant will spend $100 million on product expansion at Grange Castle in Dublin and $30 million on developing new high tech capabilities at its Ringaskiddy operation in Cork.

The company says the investment will allow them to begin producing more advanced, complex therapies for diseases such as cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
