Pat Rabbitte says he may reconsider his intention to stand for election again.

The former cabinet minister missed out in the summer reshuffle and is now spending time on the Labour backbenches.

Rabbitte commented that he understood it was up to the party leader to change the political party in the time of reshuffle and speaking about the rumours that he does not get on with Joan Burton, stated his relationship "with Joan Burton was only business-like."
