The Parades Commission has ruled that the Orange Order cannot hold a return parade through the Ardoyne in North Belfast on the 12th of July.
It's the first time a decision has been made to prevent Orangemen marching through the Nationalist area.
There's been serious rioting in area after Orange Order parades in recent years.
Sinn Féin MLA for the Ardoyne Gerry Kelly welcomed the Parades Commission decision describing it as "sensible".
However, the DUP has reacted angrily to the decision - by calling for the removal of the Parades Commission.
It says the decision to ban Orangemen from the Ardoyne will cause "massive damage to community relations and to respect for law and order".
