Ten people have been arrested by gardaí in the Kilkenny-Carlow Division under Operation Clave.

The operation - carried out at 14 premises across Co Carlow - aimed to detain people identified during Test Purchasing operations.

Nine men and a woman are being held at Carlow, Thomastown and Kilkenny Garda Stations.

Gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €3,000 during one search in Carlow.

A pistol, stun gun and pepper spray were seized during another search.

34 people have been arrested and detained across divisions over the past two days as part of Operation Clave.
