One man has died following a four vehicle crash in Co Leitrim.

It happened at around 10 o'clock this morning on the N16 Manorhamilton to Sligo road near Glencar Waterfall.

Four other people are being treated in hospital.

The deceased, believed to be in his 50's, was pronounced dead at Sligo Regional Hospital.

A section of the road remains closed and diversions are in place.
