Labour TD Joan Burton has said she believes one chicken could kill an elephant "if it got in the right place".

Ms Burton is the latest politician to take part in Sean Moncreiff's 'Quick-Fire Quiz' on Newstalk.

The three-minute segment saw the Dublin West deputy reveal that she likes to walk - and wanted to be Lois Lane.

She said her favourite sport is watching GAA and walking "if walking is a sport".

Asked how she did in her Leaving Certificate, she said she "got a lot of honours" and won a scholarship from Dublin City Council to UCD - but didn't know about until she'd already started a job in the GPO.

Asked if she had tried yoga, she said "it wasn't for me".

"Pilates I think I can do a bit of, walking I'm brilliant at".

And does the former Tánaiste watch 'Love Island'? "Only very briefly when Maura was on".

Sean asked her 'How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant'

Deputy Burton said: "Actually only one if it got in the right place and went up the elephants...."

What did she want to be when she grew up: "I wanted to be somebody like Lois Lane helping out Superman".

Of all the 'Friends' characters she could be, she thinks she "would probably be the Jennifer Aniston".

And Labour's spokesperson on finance said her party will win "hopefully about 12" Dáil seats in the general election.
