A group representing off licences has slammed the availability of alcohol at self-service tills in Ireland.
It is one of the issues set to come up at a hearing of the all-party Justice Committee today dedicated to 'problem drinking' in terms of public order.
The National Off-Licence Association, or 'Noffla' represents traders whose main business is alcohol sales - Spokesperson Evelyn Jones says it's unacceptable that supermarkets are allowed sell drink at the self-serve area:
