A news helicopter has crashed near Seattle's famous Space Needle, killing at least two people.
KOMO-TV reported that its chopper was apparently coming in for a landing on its rooftop near the iconic landmark when it went down.
The station said two cars were struck in crash.

Fire crews rushed to the scene and managed to put out the flames. Images taken at the scene showed flames and billowing black smoke rising from the site of the crash.
The helicopter was used in a joint partnership between KOMO-TV and KING-TV.

The Seattle Fire Department confirmed that two people were dead at the scene.
While a man aged in his 30s was taken from a car and is now in hospital in a critical condition.
