The Irish Aviation Authority has put new regulations in place after an incident involving two Aer Lingus planes last March.

Dublin Airport reported a "loss of separation" between a plane preparing for take-off and an inbound flight.

A runway occupation alert was activated when the departing aircraft mistakenly thought it has been cleared for take off.

New procedures have been adopted as a result of the incident.
